MTV.com wrote a great side-by-side comparison of the old Elm Street and new Elm Street. Click here to read it.

Also below are a few MTV interviews with Rooney Mara and Kyle Gallner that seem a bit old, but it is the first time I have seen them. Click here to see Jackie Earle Haley's MTV interview.

Empire magazine has an annual "Done in 60 Seconds" competiton, asking readers to submit minute long homages to classic and recent films. This year, one of the contestants gave a minute long version of the original A Nightmare On Elm Stree". While it is not the best submission, and is clearly played for laughs, they were able to feature all the best moments into the film (minus Tina's death and some very bad acting).

With about two months left until the new movie is released, the internet is buzzing with news and marketing to get everyone ready. Today we've been given four fan-made posters that are so convincing, the person who submitted them referred to them as "unreleasble studio materials", and it took some research to prove otherwise. Either way, they look incredible and are ready for your comments below! Thanks to Ammon with Arrow in the Head for sending these our way!

While it has been alleged that Jackie Earle Haley has signed a three picture deal to play Freddy Krueger, the director of the yet to be released first film, Samuel Bayer, has said he will not come back for another stroll down Elm Street. When interviewed by /Film, Bayer said:

Here are the two TV spots for A Nightmare on Elm Street in theaters on April 30, 2010. Check them out and let us know if and how they differ from the trailers!

Freddy Krueger returns in A Nightmare on Elm Street, a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. A group of surburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape.

In theaters April 30, 2010.

A Nightmare on Elm Street must be getting close because all kinds of goodies have been popping up online. Below are four new images from the German website Moviegod, and I have to say they look pretty great.
